Blue Vervain - Verbena hastata
Blue Vervain is a native plant that grows in full sun in prairies, meadows, fields and along streambanks. It grows from 16"-40" in height and is branched towards to top.
Blue Vervain has 5-petal, deep blue (lavender) flowers clustered on densely-flowered spikes. Spikes elongate as the plants mature.
Blue Vervain blooms from late July to October.
