Garlic Chives- Allium tuberosum (introduced/rarely escaped)
Garlic Chives have white flowers with 6 star-like tepals that are about 1/4" across. They are clustered in flat-topped umbrels that are about 2 - 3" across on slender stalks that are between 10 - 24" tall.
Often grown as an ornamental plant in gardens, they sometimes escape into other areas.
Bloom: Mid-August to October.
Other Names: Chinese chives, Oriental garlic, Asian chives.
