Rattlesnake Master - Eryngium yuccifolium
Rattlesnake Master is a native plant that likes full sun and grows in meadows, prairies. Rattlesnake Master can grow from 1 1/2'- 4' tall.
The white/green globe-like flowerheads are arrayed in an orbital cluster at the end of a tall, smooth stalk. Each flower head has numerous small flowers with 5 white petals. These flowerheads turn pinkish/purplish in the fall before turning brown.
Blooms July-August.
