Note: Sighted Great Blue Heron rise out of cattails where Lake Wingra opens into the Ho-Nee-Um Pond lagoon and saw another Great Blue Heron in Ho-Nee-Um Pond with mallards and Canada Geese at the mouth of where Council Ring Spring and Dancing Sands flow into the lagoon. Also saw Great Blue Heron in Duck Pond (Gorham Spring/Spring Trail Pond) off of Nakoma Road.
